Amsterdam is a city that never truly sleeps — and at night, its mood changes completely. The canals reflect a different kind of light. Street corners whisper stories. Silence and shadows begin to dance. This photo series is my personal exploration of that transformation.
I’ve always been drawn to the cinematic — not in the polished, posed sense, but in how real moments can feel like stills from a movie. In this project, I wander the city late at night, chasing solitude, flickering lights, foggy bridges, and sometimes, fleeting faces.
Every photo in this series is for me a frame pulled from a dream. Some are empty — quiet echoes of daily life. Others are lit by the glow of a lone cyclist or a tram cutting through the fog.
In a way, it’s part street photography, part visual poetry.
If you’d like to bring one of these scenes into your own space, a curated selection of limited-edition prints is available in the shop — printed on museum-quality fine art paper.
